Tobago

Tobago is a wonderful island in the Caribbean and I just returned from a lovely official visit there. I was greeted with parades and even had to inspect a guard of honour! But the most overwhelming welcome was when I arrived at the airport where they had arranged the most fantastic welcoming party with dancers and a steel band. Everywhere I went I was greeted with great love and affection.
I spoke to schoolchildren, teachers and women’s groups all over the island.

It was a tough schedule but very rewarding. I can’t wait to go back.
