Damehood Medal

On the 12th March 2020 I was thrilled to go to Buckingham Palace to collect my Damehood Medal, which I received for over 40 years of charitable work. Prince Charles presented it to me but we didn’t shake hands because of Covid-19, instead, we did a namaste greeting. A few days later the country went into lockdown.
